Darlene Quartey-Warner MS CCC/SLP Speech-Language Pathologist, Owner

Darlene Quartey-Warner is a licensed speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience. Prior to founding A Speech Connection Clinic in 2010, she gained extensive experience working across various settings, including public schools, hospitals, and home health environments.

Darlene holds multiple professional certifications and has completed advanced training in a variety of specialized areas. Her credentials include certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as training in VitalStim Therapy, Beckman Oral-Motor Therapy, the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Kaufman Apraxia System, S.O.S. Feeding Therapy, Talk Tools Oral Placement Therapy, the Hanen Program: It Takes Two to Talk, Every Move Counts, Passy Muir Valve training, and she is a Certified SPEAK OUT!® Provider.

During her time in the school system, Darlene served as the lead speech-language pathologist for five years. She founded and directed the district's preschool speech and language class for preschoolers- L.E.A.P. (Language Enrichment and Articulation Program) and was a member of both the Assistive Technology Team and the Autism Team.

Outside of her professional work, Darlene enjoys spending quality time with her family. She and her husband, Derrick, are proud parents of three children. Darlene is an optimist because she believes in positive thinking above all. She looks for and expects the best outcomes in life and in all that she does.
